MR. SILVER GOT HIS SEVEN: AFRIKA WINS 67-65, FORCES GAME 7
Draymond Green’s two-way fourth quarter rescued Afrika while Luka Doncic’s 1-for-12 night helped turn Newport’s 3-1 lead into a 3-3 series.

Newport had led the series 3-1. After Game 6, there was no lead left.
Afrika beat the 100s 67-65 to tie the series 3-3 and force the seventh game Mr. Silver always seems to want.
Newport had chances. The 100s led by 10 and won the offensive glass 13-6. LeBron James scored 19. Jose Alvarado added four assists, three steals and a plus-8.
But Luka Doncic repeated the failure that had haunted the previous closeout attempt: four points on 1-for-12 shooting, 0-for-6 from three, four turnovers and minus-13.
Stephen Curry scored 14 and Devin Booker added 12 for Afrika, but the official game ball went to Draymond Green. His line was only six points until the rest of it was read: five rebounds, three steals, one block, zero turnovers, perfect 3-for-3 shooting and a plus-10.
His fourth-quarter work on both ends changed the game.
A 3-1 Newport lead had become 3-3. One game remained.
