THREE GAMES, THREE DIFFERENT DEVILS: NEW JERSEY WINS 76-67

Atlantic City finally found the pace it wanted in Game 3. New Jersey found another way to win anyway.

The Aces pushed for 23 fast-break points, handed out 26 assists and matched the Devils at roughly 48 percent shooting. For the first time in the series, Atlantic City made the game look like its preferred version of basketball.

The Devils answered on the ground.

New Jersey won the second quarter 16-7, attacked the glass and created enough extra possessions to win 76-67 and move ahead 3-0.

Jalen Brunson scored 22, but Zach Edey authored the decisive line: 10 points, 17 rebounds, four offensive boards, three steals and perfect 5-for-5 shooting. The Devils recorded 11 team offensive rebounds, 12 second-chance points and 48 paint points.

Zach LaVine added 12 and LaMelo Ball scored 10. Instead of needing another Brunson eruption, New Jersey leaned on size, rebounding and balance.

The Aces ran faster. The Devils owned the ground. Three games into the series, New Jersey had now beaten Atlantic City three different ways.
